Copenhagen’s most popular fetish night, Manifest, has postponed their August 28 bash in Hamburg, Germany until March 6, 2010, due to sluggish summer response time. The new date will allow us all plenty of time to plan our calendars, and for a new German audience to do the same.
In the meantime, the yearly Fetish Fashion party will be held October 10th at Sallingvej Selskabslokaler in Vanløse, where it was held last year. I really liked this location because it was super close to my home, and also because the facilities were much comfier and more elegant for ladies like me, with plenty of sofas for schmoozing, and discrete areas for more intimate interactions.
Okay, so the date’s a leetle close to the London Fetish Weekend, but it’s still doable. And best of all, the partygoers for the annual Copenhagen bash make serious efforts with their party clothes, so it will feel like much less of the normal letdown that almost any local party, regardless of location, is after a super London bash!
I wonder how the lousy economy has affected outings like this. I confess I haven’t paid much attention to that (hey, I write about sex, not finance) aspect of things but now that I’m thinking of it…are economic woes creating a dent in ‘the biz’? Or are our vices one of the few things that are surviving the budget cuts? Food for thought.
