Yet another rubber wearing heroine in rubber, will hit the big screens in september this year. “Underworld” is a kind of cyber/gothic/vampire kick-ass action adventure romance:
Underworld reimagines vampires as a secretive clan of modern, aristocratic sophisticates whose mortal enemies are the lycans (werewolves), a shrewd gang of street thugs who prowl the city’s underbelly. The balance of power is upset when a beautiful young vampire (Kate Beckinsale) and a nascent lycan (Scott Speedman) fall in love.
Sure looks and sounds like a major “Matrix” and “Romeo and Juliet” ripoff…
