Latex fetish model, RubberDoll, makes a unique mainstream appearance in the latest music video by renowned DJ, Markus Schulz. The clip, which is for Schulz’s latest single, “Do You Dream”, is a slick and dreamy feature with a soaring trance soundtrack. It’s contemporary styling and black-and-white videography are the perfect compliment to RubberDoll’s high gloss latex outfits.
The storyline finds Schulz roaming the city streets in search of his muse, who is played by RubberDoll. Just as the two are about to connect, RubberDoll vanishes into thin air, only to reappear as an image in picture frames at Schulz’s apartment. The video was filmed on location in Amsterdam, by director, Jelle Posthuma of the Corrino Media Group. Check out the behind the scenes footage available on YouTube.
RubberDoll is also planning further collaborations with Schulz, including a live performance piece during his appearance at The Palms resort in Las Vegas on September 6, 2009.

The “Xpo”, London’s annual fetish expo at the Barbican, has been cancelled for this year. Could that be an indication of the impact the worldwide economic crisis has on the fetish scene?
The official statement from the Xpo is:
“It with great regret that we are announcing the cancellation of The Xpo this year. This has been an extremely hard decision for us but we feel it is the right thing to do for both exhibitors and visitors. Various factors have combined to make it difficult for exhibitors to commit to The Xpo as far in advance as they normally would.”They promise to be back next year on Oct. 2nd and 3rd.
The London Fetish Weekend will still be going ahead with a number of events from Oct. 2-4, including the Torture Garden Party.

Our fetish friend Observer wanted to remind all you kinky Canadians and travelers that it’s not only Montreal which has its share of fetish events–nope, even Ottawa has it going on!
Writes Observer:
For rubberists, there are 2 things of interest: The ball and the workshops where yours truly is presenting.
This is the 5th (or 4rth, I guess it depends how you count) annual fetish ball in Ottawa, and they tend to be our biggest event of the year. We have been starting to get people from Toronto, Montreal and the USA coming, and usually we have 300-400 people attend. This year the organizers decided to “extend” the event into a weekend, with workshops, a play party and others.
Sounds like a lot of fun. Wish I could join you, Observer and friends!
