I am so excited! Apparently someone nominated my book Rubber Life for an National Leather Association award in the Non-Fiction Book category.
NLA-International, is a leading organization for activists in the pan-sexual leather community. Now in their fifth year, the NLA-I’s writing awards have received widespread appreciation and support. A “leather first,” they have become the preeminent awards for SM, leather, and fetish writing.
Nominated works should foster education and promote awareness and a positive image of the leather/SM/fetish community. They should entertain and educate, while building awareness and tolerance of the community and showcasing the talents of its members.
Past winners include Laura Antoniou, Gloria Brame, Jack Fritscher, Lee “Bridgett” Harrington, Anneke Jacob, Jeff Mann, Jack Rinella, david stein, Cecilia Tan, Tristan Taormino, Claire Thompson, Alyson Tyler, and many other excellent writers.
It would be so thrilling to win, but I’m totally honoured just to be nominated!
Twenty years ago, DeMasK put on a fabulous fetish party called “EuroPerve”. This annual event would literally change the fetish party scene forever and with it, firmly placing Amsterdam on the World’s fetish map!
In 1994, Wasteland began working wonders on bringing fetishism out of the darkness and into the light, powering on to now holding the biggest fetish parties in Europe.
After decades of experience in gaining a deep understanding of what it takes to organize and put on great fetish parties, these iconic entities are now joining formidable forces to take fetish events to an even greater heights.
DeMasK and Wasteland, the two Fetish Titans of Holland/Europe, are delighted to announce a collaboration to bring back the truly legendary, much missed party, “EuroPerve”!
EuroPerve’s & Wasteland’s new exciting plans will be announced at a special “invite only” event, hold in Amsterdam on the 28’th of January, along with the presentation of their new flyers, by the special host of the night, Ancilla Tilia.
Get ready for the 2nd coming of Amsterdam’s fetish scene!
Fetish-Ginkgo is a self-taught French female fetish artist. She first started drawing manga heroines with large stylized eyes and then moved towards a style more comics with superheroines with perfectly muscular bodies in their tight outfits.
Today her work has matured, and the style is refined and detailed and has become semi-realistic.
She likes to draw women with a certain power of seduction, latex women, Geisha and Lolitas.
She admires the great fashion photographers who capture the essence of femininity and the great American pin-up artists.

Everyone’s got their own opinions on sexy space travellers. There are those who beg to lick Barbarella’s silver boots, those who seek to serve at the feet of Servalan (the icy space femdom of BBC’s Blake’s Seven fame), or those with the urge to orchestrate untoward, unspeakable filth upon Astroboy. Hey, there are even those who are eager to violate an ewok.
I have to admit I’ve always harboured a fetish soft spot for those soldiers of the Imperial Army of the Galactic Empire – the (almost) indomitable Stormtroopers. The armour suits / the masks / the masks / the masks… swoon!
So when I discovered that a beautiful and talented lady here in my very own home town of Brighton was designing and constructing her own creations in the shape of such Cosplay fantasies as a latex Stormtrooper catsuit, my rubber antennae pricked up right away!
Shoshanna Ani is the artistic designer and creator behind Shhh! Couture Handmade Latex. Having worked with latex in the first year of her BA Fashion degree, Shoshanna decided it was time to get creative. After working for a luxury latex clothing boutique as their in-house designer, it seemed natural to progress within latex. After getting her BA, Shoshanna created Shhh! Couture and has steadily risen in the latex world. It is her aim to create fun, exciting and sexy items that anyone and everyone can wear. Ranging from cupcake print dresses to sultry leopard print beauties, Shhh! Couture creates garments that bring out the femme fatale in every woman.
All Shhh! Couture latex items are hand crafted by Shoshanna in her studio. Each pattern is cut with precision to ensure customers purchase items that fit perfectly and flatter their figure. All items are available in standard UK sizes as well as made to measure (at no extra cost).
Shoshanna also tells me she has a Stormtrooper latex dress in the pipeline, as well as a matching hood, so watch this space… In the meantime, lust the other Cosplay creations in her catalogue such as the Mario inspired outfit which is seeing a lot of love down Fetlife way. Drool over her ultra cool studded biker jacket and studded hotpants and fawn over her faux fur collar jacket.
So, back to Stormtroopers…hothothot. For me, there`s only one scenario to top being kitted out in a latex space aggressor’s suit, and that`s to be on the receiving end of some strict discipline delivered by my play partner in a Darth Vader outfit fashioned in heavy rubber. My unholy imagination is rife with kinky space fantasies… beam me up Scotty!
Lüllepop is a young, unique Berlin fashion label. Cathleen Reinheckel and Andre Gawanka are designing latex fashions with clever catchy combinations using textiles and latex in such a way that it’s eye catching and extravagant yet still practical and wearable.
Lüllepop gear is designed to take full advantage of the female form and lure and bedazzle the male of the species. The feminine lines are well brought together using materials such as lace, lycra, fine nappa leather or even knitted materials, all cleverly combined with latex.
Ready for the start of the 15th Erotic Fair in Berlin (Venus) Cathleen and Andre have created a fitting “Desous” collection, which will guarantee to turn some heads, especially among the men.
The “Dolcessa in autunno” collection is in colors spanning from soft Champagne tones, to warm passionate burgundy colors of a deep full bodied red wine. Lüllepop has also used lots of lace to keep the soft feminine touch and combine it with the more raunchy latex fem-dom style. G-strings & triangular bras, and an array of charming panties etc.
Micaela Schäfer models some of the Lüllepop creations on the Venus Berlin Erotic fair poster this year and it is also Lüllepop who designed the garments that Micaela will be wearing at the Venus Berlin Awards. A dream made of latex & lace.
