Leading latex label Libidex is inviting its fans and customers to send in suggestions for new Libidex collections – and is offering up to £150 worth of free latex for the first five suggestions drawn in a raffle.
The idea is to get customers to give Libidex feedback on what they would like to see Libidex designing next – and since the raffle was launched in the Libidex newsletter yesterday, there have been dozens of responses.
Libidex owner and head designer Simon Rose says he’s keen to know what latex wearers are looking for and to get an idea of how the latex fashion market is changing. “We’re not asking people to submit detailed designs, but anything from ideas for individual garments or particular collections or trends are welcome. Of course we’ve got lots of ideas for designs ourselves, but we think it’s important to know the sort of thing people are looking for so that we can best meet their desires when designing our new collections. Our new collection for men last year – LIBIDEX:MAN – certainly filled a gap in the market, and we’re keen to create something equally sensational and attractive this year too!”
The raffle is open to anyone – not just Libidex customers or newsletter readers. All you have to do is drop an email to Simon@libidex.co.uk headed ‘Libidex Design Raffle’ with your suggestion, and you will automatically be entered in the prize draw.
Prizes consist of a voucher for £100 to be spent on Libidex Made to Order garments, or £150 to be spent on items from the Libidex LatexEXPRESS range. The raffle is governed by Libidex’s general terms & conditions of business.
Closing date for entries is 7th July 2012.

Berlin based latex manufacturer Très Bonjour got the chance to dress up a true V.I.P. as part of a charity project! In a very spontaneous collaboration with TUSH Magazine, Très Bonjour design team created the worlds finest latex couture Barbie for the charity project “Design with Barbie”.
Several prominent people from the fashion industry, as well as several actresses and athletes, were asked to do an individual outfit for the Barbie doll.
The Très Bonjour team only had 20 hours to complete the outfit – a tough deadline, but they had a lot of fun as well as you can imagine. The result is an astounding black latex gown with huge frills and harness details, matching latex harness gauntlets and latex hood topped with a mohawk.
From July 2nd – during Berlin Fashion Week – all Barbies will be exhibited at the famous German shopping hotspot KaDeWe in Berlin. In the end of the year all the unique Barbies will be sold at an auction. The auction proceed goes to the children charity project “Wir helfen Kindern” from German TV station RTL and will be presented by Sylvie van der Vaart.
Natually, Très Bonjour hopes their rubber Barbie will generate good proceeds at the auction. We wish their rubber dolly the best of luck!
