In “Fly with me, my Black Swan!”, German – Polish author Edyta Zaborowska tells the extraordinary circumstances that led to the development of a previously “vanilla” woman to become a dominatrix and a latex lover. The book embraces the twelve months of Edyta Zaborowska´s life from 2007 to 2008 when she discovered the world of BDSM and latex.
In 2007, her boyfriend had a kind of “coming out” and confessed his love of BDSM, fetish, domination and latex lingerie. Obviously, he had kept his secrets with him and didn’t dare to tell about it, as he had too many fears of losing her.
The inclusion of these elements into the sex life was unthinkable for Edyta, her education and past had left too many marks. BDSM and sexual fetishism were totally new and she did not get anything out of it. He didn’t let up and one day Edyta took the plunge and jumped into the frigid water.
That experience turned her life around and it started an avalanche that could not be stopped. She encountered the sexual power play with domination and submission. The latex lingerie was the essential accessory for the dominance, which she began to live out more and more.
But this change even had an effect on her private and professional life: The time as a conservative and plain office clerk was suddenly gone, her appearance and presence became confident and elegant, and she was propelled to a career in the management of the company.
Also, she was able to come to terms with the past, because some frustrating experiences of her life still haunted her. Only now she had the power and self-confidence to get these infuriating thoughts out of the way.
Edyta Zaborowska was born in 1970 in a small village in south-eastern Poland. Her childhood, youth and education were marked by the decline of socialism and a continuing strict Catholic moral background. Following high school, she studied music and art in Wroclaw. At the age of twenty-two, she moved alone to Germany with no knowledge of the German language and against the wishes of her family. This was followed by various positions in commercial management and musical engagements in Germany and overseas. “Fly with me, my Black Swan!” is her first novel.
