I spotted this hooded latex raincoat from Patrik Ervell. Handmade (in New York City) waterproof garment in 100% natural rubber. As durable as it is functional for use as a final layer in foul climate. Wipe clean with a damp cloth using no soap. Each jacket purchased is made to order and takes 2-3 weeks to complete. Price: $1,660.00!
HEY… WAIT A MOMENT… WHAT THE F***!!! ONE-THOUSAND-SIX-HUNDRED-AND-SIXTY U.S. DOLLARS!!! THEY MUST BE NUTZ?!?
OK! How about buying a very similar looking latex bomberjacket with hood from Blackstyle for $285.00 instead and then give the remaining money to charity? The latex bomberjacket even comes in different latex colors and thicknesses, has optional pockets. I guarantee that Blackstyle can make you one, by hand, in under one week.
And don’t worry, your stupid Fashionista “friends” can not tell the difference anyway… I mean if they would pay that much for a “designer” raincoat they are already insane.

Nyahahahaa! I can find one for 1/10 of the start price (ok, maybe in Euro)… made from english latex and chlorinated… Snobbery and inability to use Ebay has high price, indeed!
@Lady Arrakis: I belive you! I wonder who make them in NY. Mmmm… Maybe the Baroness?
Bloody Hell! Ok I must not be charging enough lol… 99 quid (pounds), and in nice thick 4D rubber. What a bargain! ;) http://www.rubberevashop.com/en/Mens+Tops/183/24_26_98/hooded-tracksuit-jacket
Luv Eva.
OMG! Rubber Eva shop has beaten EVEN my price judgement! There’s no way!
One needs to understand the mentality of some people. They wouldn’t think of shopping online to begin with… it’s so “for the riff raff” and then there’s the shame of going into some dingy bricks and mortar sex shop stuff to the ceiling with thousands sex toys and bizarre kinky garments and loads of gay regalia. They’d never set foot inside. They shop a boutiques with the right address on high rent streets with huge expensive interiors and a few women who look like models with tood for staff and a handful of “it items” for sale and no price tags either. These people (women) spend $3,000 for boots, $15,000 for a bag and wouldn’t be caught dead in something without some designer’s name and logo attached.
