Latex Fetish Community
We’re not alone! The latex fetish community is well established, and support, help, and connect fellow rubber rubberists. The latex fetish community also assembles in large cities, such as London, Tokyo, Berlin and Copenhagen, where rubber enthusiasts meets, socialize and exchange ideas.
MissFuzzyBunny, also known as Heidi, passed away from cancer this summer. She was 61 years old.
We met online shortly after I began this blog. The first time we met in person was at the 2003 SkinTwo Rubber Ball Weekend. My life was enriched by Heidi over the next decade.
Since Heidi was familiar with the fetish social scene, she was able to make friends quickly. She participated in many online forums and did many things online. We could talk about latex fetish for hours because Heidi knew everyone in the community!
As Heidi visited us in Denmark, she ended up marrying my best friend. She worked in the Latexa store (shut down in 2010) and designed and glued latex clothing for Danish labels “No Pain No Gain”, “Strange Lifeforms” and eventually her own brand “Essential Latex”. She co-edited my blog (read her contributions here) and had many suggestions for my latex guide book.
A decade after moving to Copenhagen, my friends got divorced. At the same time, Heidi was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to undergo surgery. As Heidi recovered, she began spending more time in the UK. She met her new husband there, made many friends, and ended up living happily in a London suburb in an old cottage.
My memories of Heidi are full of laughter and warmth. She had a quirky sense of humor, an infectious mood, and a great sense of style. She attended our wedding, played with our daughter, and sat for our dogs.
On August 30, a memorial service was held in the UK. It was a beautiful ceremony and a very emotional farewell.
Heidi loved animals and nature and wanted us to support charity, so if you feel like it, give some money for animal or nature protection.
Heidi was one of my best friends, and I miss her.
Rest in peace, MissFuzzyBunny.

FetLife is without any doubt the worlds biggest community for people interested in BDSM, fetishism and kink, but the popular community has a huge flaw – there is no easy way to search all those great photos.
Two days ago, when I was talking to one of the coders from the FetLife’s development team, I learned that there actually exist a hidden search function on FetLife which lets you search ALL photos on ALL profiles at once, based upon the description of those photos.
Here is how it works:
1. Enter the keyword or phrase you want to search for
2. Directly after you add “+photos”
3. Hit return!
Enjoy!
P.S.: Remember to send me a friend request – I’m 3xL on FetLife.
Ataraxia, the owner of the huge International Association of Heavy Rubberists community, has annonuced that he is retiring….
In an email to all IAHR members Ataraxia writes “I have recently retired from my job and after nearly 15 years of operating the International Association of Heavy Rubberists it is time for me to move on to something else. My heart just isn’t in it any more.”
I started my “out of the closet” journey in IAHR’s forums and learned a great deal from all it’s members. Ataraxia is both a great guy and a passionate rubberist. I would like to thank Ataraxia for all the hard work he has done for the latex community and I’m confident that he will enjoy his well deserved retirement… in latex naturally!
The sale includes all forum content, the “Rubberist.NET/.ORG/.INFO/CO.UK” domains and the (non-expiring) license to the vBulletin software. If you are interested, please contact Ataraxia privately. Serious cash inquiries only!
New York, New York – International fetish model Kylie Marilyn was crowned Miss Rubber World 2012 in front of an electrifying crowd of rubber worshipers. The event was part of New York Rubber Ball, presented by FetishMovies.com.
“For the first time, this award goes across the ocean and I’m proud to represent it in Europe,” said Marilyn. “Thank you so much to Brigitte More for an awesome dress. That was a huge factor in our win. Thank you so much to Chiyo Nakamura and all the awesome latex designers and labels who helped us. I hope to bring many kinksters and fetishists to New York next year for an even better show.”
Marilyn’s duties as Miss Rubber World 2012 will be to promote the rubber fetish community, and act as a representative of the community at events. With the title, tiara and sash, comes over $8,000 worth of rubber merchandise and accessories from sponsors such as. The Baroness, Kink Engineering, Lady Oops, Dawnamatrix Designs, Lovely Latex, Anatomic Bomb and FetishMovies.com.
Marilyn’s victory was not easily won. Competing with her for the title were nine excellent rivals, including designers, models, and Dominatrixes. Most, like Marilyn, had extensive connections in the fetish community and had elaborate stage shows for the fantasy performance competition. Lydia Lael, first runner up in the competition, won over $4,000 in prizes, and third place winner Sophia Larou took home over $2,000 in latex swag.
“Shae Fatale definitely deserved to win,” said contestant Queen Titania. “She had the coolest, most creative outfits. Although Austin White kind of deserved to win for walking around in ballet boots like it was nothing. Regardless, I had a lot of fun last night and met some very cool people.”
One of Marylin’s first duties as Miss Rubber World 2012 will be to represent the title and the rubber community at Fetish Evolution Weekend, April 6-8, in Germany.
