Fall is here, the pandemic will soon be over and soon the fetish parties will show up again. I can’t think of a better time to begin making your own latex clothing. Everybody can learn to make their own latex. All you need is the right knowledge and a few supplies.
A quick way to get started is by ordering a Blackstyle’s Latex Designer Kit. It has everything (except cleaner) you need to get started: A cutting mat, rotary cutter, spare blades, ballpoint pen with silver ink, a few latex offcuts, adhesive/glue for rubber sheeting, pressure roller, and talcum powder.
In this video you’ll see how the Latex Designer Kit is used to glue a latex seam. The basic gluing technique, necessary for all work with latex.
It’s really that easy! With a little practice, you will soon be confident enough to take on more complicated latex crafting projects and even repair your own latex. And if you need materials, be sure to visit Blackstyle’s online store. You can buy latex by the meter, small metal parts, zippers, and much more.
Good luck with your latex crafting!

Latex Kitty has made a new beautiful latex shower curtain for our green tiled bathroom. The old one, made from black latex, lasted a little more than two years before it started to rip’n’rot.
Kitty made the shower curtain from 4 meters of Radical Rubber‘s Translucent Olive (0.4 mm) latex sheeting, two meters of cotton strip, 14 eyelets, latex milk and rubber cement.
If you are interested in latex DIY projects like this, I suggest that you visit Latex Kitty’s popular blog: Making Latex Clothing.
UPDATE: We decided to chlorinate our latex shower curtain to make it last longer and to get a nice soft and less sticky surface. You can either chlorinate your latex yourself or pay someone do it for you.
Demask (Dortmund) is offering chlorination as a service – no matter what brand, charge pr. amount of surface.
